Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, an LPN performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for assigned residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the care plan, managing the environment for safety, supervising nursing assistants, and adhering to all policies and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet health requirements imposed by law
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, and community members
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; basic computer skills with aptitude to learn company applications
