Offering 12-hour (6pm-6am) and 8-hour shifts

Make up to $47.50 per hour based on experience

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to standards of care, manages the environment to ensure resident/patient safety, and supervises the care activities performed by nursing assistants and helpers. Follows all North Shore policies and procedures and complies with the State Nurse Practice Act and applicable JCAHO standards.

Requirements of the Position:

• Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Must have and maintain current CPR certification
• Able to operate necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law
• Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic computer knowledge with a willingness to learn company applications
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous post-acute care experience preferred
