Job summary

North Shore Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide resident-centered care in a Hammond setting. The role requires an active LPN license and CPR certification, with a focus on accurate medication administration and a strong team-based approach.

Experience in skilled nursing is preferred, but new graduates are welcome with training and support. Wages are competitive, with flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, administers nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care for a group of residents/patients.
• Provides resident-centered care and ensures safety and comfort during shifts.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to meet individual care goals.
