Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Pittsburgh is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our outpatient addiction treatment facility. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and educate clients within a compassionate, interdisciplinary team.

The role offers a stable weekday schedule, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and competitive pay of $24–$28 per hour based on experience. Candidates must hold an active PA LPN license, CPR/BLS and First Aid, and have experience in addiction

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania LPN license and unrestricted practice.
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification.
• Experience in addiction medicine or behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor withdrawal per protocol.
• Perform nursing assessments and document findings.
• Educate clients on medications and recovery topics.
• Support providers during evaluations and medication management.
• Communicate health changes to the treatment team.
• Maintain meds storage and clinical supplies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for care continuity.
• Ensure confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards.

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our outpatient addiction treatment facility in Pittsburgh. This role is ideal for a nursing professional who is passionate about behavioral healthcare, substance use treatment, and delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Compensation is based on experience in addiction medicine.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include medication administration, nursing assessments, withdrawal monitoring, patient education, and clinical documentation.
• Provide direct nursing care and clinical support to clients.
• Complete nursing assessments, screenings, and documentation.
• Educate clients on medications, health conditions, and recovery-related topics.
• Support providers during medical evaluations and medication management appointments.
• Communicate significant health concerns and changes in condition to the treatment team.
• Maintain medication storage, clinical supplies, and medical equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all professional, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Current, active, and unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN license
• Current CPR/BLS & First Aid certification
• Experience in addiction medicine, substance use disorder treatment, or behavioral health
• Experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
