Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare's Dallas inpatient nursing team seeks a licensed RN or LPN to provide detox and medical oversight in a supportive, patient-centered environment. You will administer medications, perform initial assessments, and collaborate with medical providers to ensure safe withdrawal management.

The role emphasizes independence (no ADLs, no catheters, no IVs/ports) with shift rotations from 7am–7pm and weekend/holiday coverage; competitive pay with shift differentials and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Knowledge of detox protocols.
• Awareness of regulatory bodies such as CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP, RTFA.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and guide LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments.
• Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions.
• Medication administration.
• Knowledge and delivery of withdraw management protocols where applicable.
• Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol where applicable.
• Provide medication education to clients.
• Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments.
• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order.
• Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay

The LPN rate is $30/hr, plus shift differential.

The RN rate is $35/hr plus shift differential.

Shift

7:00am to 7:00pm, with flexibility on days, requiring work every other weekend and holiday.

Weekend (Sat, Sun)

• 1st shift (7a-3p) $1.50

• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order
• Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely
• Apply knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
• Conduct COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients, adhering to protocol
• Provide medication education to clients
• Coordinate and support Medical providers with assessments and medication management appointments
• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; uphold confidentiality and proper boundaries
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
