Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse at Avon Park Correctional Institution in Avon Park, Florida. The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN oversight, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

The role is Monday through Friday with an 8-hour day shift. Requires LPN license, CPR certification, and willingness to obtain security clearance; health, retirement, and education benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• LPN license required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope under supervision of RNs and medical staff.
• Respond to physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients.
• Work at Avon Park Correctional Institution with a Monday–Friday 8 hour day shift.
