Southeast Health seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN II) to support Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Medicine units in a per diem, part-time role. The incumbent assists the registered nurse in data collection, planning, and evaluation of patient care for adults and geriatrics, following hospital policies and Alabama Board of Nursing standards.

Strong teamwork and communication are essential. Shifts are day-based, with 7:00 am–7:00 pm coverage; a 0.2 FTE indicates part-time per diem schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• ACLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Proficient with Windows-based PCs and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in data collection to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
