Preferred Family Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our primary care program in Columbia, MO. You will administer medications, conduct nursing assessments, and document care while supporting clients in residential and behavioral health treatment settings.

  • Completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
  • All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter

  • Administer medications to clients via various methods, including oral, injection, and self-administration
  • Perform nursing assessments, including physical and mental health assessments and psychiatric screeners
  • Document medication administration and nursing assessments accurately and completely
  • Conduct MAR reviews and medication counts
  • Room clients, verify client data and medical history, obtain basic vital signs and specimen collection as needed

Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
