Genesis is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for 2nd and 3rd shift, full-time; opportunities also on all shifts for part-time and PRN. You will work under an RN to deliver nursing care, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
