Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in High Point, NC is seeking licensed practical nurses to join our team for part-time or full-time roles. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting with a focus on safety and quality.

We offer multiple shifts (7:00am–3:00pm and 3:00pm–11:00pm), $4–$5.25 shift differentials, and opportunities for increased base pay through our program. Walk-ins welcome with same-day offers for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain BLS/CPR certification as required by state practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Posted Salary Range

USD $31.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
