Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians in Beaufort is seeking an LPN to support quality patient care under a physician or licensed provider. You will room patients, take vitals and health history, document in the EMR, administer injections and assist with minor procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining exam rooms and coordinating scheduling while triaging calls and communicating care plans. LPN license in SC and BLS are required in this fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in South Carolina or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Experience in clinical settings with patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients, takes vitals and health history, documents in EMR.
• Gives injections and assists with minor procedures.
• Maintains exam rooms, supplies and cleanliness per OSHA/DHEC/UMA.
• Triages calls, screens patients and communicates plan of care.
• Monitors and distributes medications, including samples.
• Assists with scheduling and referrals based on urgency.
