Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain an active state nursing license.
• IV therapy training completed prior to IV starts.
• Medical/surgical experience is preferred.
• Critical care experience recommended for direct observation bed units.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification recognized.
• IV Certification recognized.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status of individuals and groups.
• Develop and modify plans of care.
• Implement care strategies within the LPN scope of practice.
• Delegate activities within the LPN scope and evaluate responses to care interventions.
