Pinecrest Supports and Services Center in Louisiana is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Nursing Department. The role focuses on implementing physician orders, administering medications, and delivering routine nursing care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, temporary permit, or NLC/eNLC license.
• Ability to work under supervision of physician and RN.
• Capability to perform nursing care and medication administration as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Apply physician orders for medications and treatments under supervision.
• Assess and reassess medically stable individuals and provide interventions.
• Coordinate nursing care with the RN and monitor plan of care.
• Participate in data collection and nursing performance improvement activities.
• Assist in rounds and documentation in the integrated record.
• Supervise direct care staff and report discrepancies.
