Job summary

Garden City Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a licensed LVN/LPN to join our emergency care team.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, with state licensure required and BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. This is a full-time, day shift position focused on compassionate care and a positive patient experience in a community hospital.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire (state specific).
• ACLS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.
• PALS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the emergency care setting.
