The LVN/LPN role at Olympia Fields Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is a full-time day shift in the Acute Rehab MST setting. Under RN supervision, you provide direct and indirect patient care to support safety, comfort, and the overall patient experience.

Required are a high school diploma, LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications within 90 days, and BLS at hire. Benefits include a comprehensive Total Rewards package and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• 3. IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• 4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• 5. Work experience in health care preferred.
