Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Dialysis unit on a part-time, day-shift basis. The role involves providing dialytic therapy under RN supervision to patients with acute renal failure or ESRD on-site, with teamwork across the care team.

Responsibilities include patient safety, EMR documentation (vital signs, treatments, education, IV therapy) and efficient unit communication. MD LPN licensure and a high school diploma are required.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, You Will

• Observes safe practices and maintains a safe environment while caring for the patient.
• Operates the unit communication systems, facilitates unit communication and relays messages appropriately (per HCH standard) including: emergency communications, patient needs, telephone and intercom communications, and other departmental communications.
• Documents patient care/assessment data in the EMR including but not limited to: vital signs, patient status, treatments, education provided, assessment data, administration and effectiveness of medication, IV therapy.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Licensed Practical Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing (required)

Pay Range

• $23.97 - $33.56 per hour
• Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
