Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Dialysis team on-site in Silver Spring. The role involves providing dialytic therapy under RN supervision for patients with acute renal failure or ESRD, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in outpatient hemodialysis.

The LPN will document care in the EMR, monitor vital signs, and support safe unit operations while maintaining a patient-centered, respectful environment. Per diem/part-time shift options available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Maryland LPN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Observes safe practices and maintains a safe environment for patients.
• Operates unit communication systems and relays messages per HCH standards.
• Documents patient care/assessment data in the EMR (vital signs, status, treatments, education, IV therapy).
