Job summary

CentraCare Health in Willmar, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinic team. You will deliver patient-centered care by rooming patients for a variety of visits and communicating results and medications to patients and staff.

The role includes assisting with procedures within scope, injections/immunizations, and MOHS-related tasks. You will support wound care and light therapies, and help keep the clinic running smoothly with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card required per policy.
• Ability to read and interpret medical records, orders, and medication orders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, patient-centered care by rooming patients for a variety of clinic visits.
• Communicate results and essential medical information to patients and providers.
• Assist with procedures within scope of practice and inject/immunize as needed.
• Assist with skin biopsies and MOHS-related tasks.
• Wound care including dressing, suturing, and light therapies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Summary

• Be a vital link between patients and providers by communicating results and essential medical information.
• Play a key role in keeping our clinic running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring every patient’s experience is seamless.
• Assist with procedures within scope of practice.
• Administer medications/injections/immunizations.
• Assist with skin biopsies and MOHS surgeries.
• Wound dressing and suture removal along with light therapies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Fulltime position - Working 64 hours every two weeks | Onsite
• Monday through Thursday | Fridays off!
• Daytime shifts between hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $21.85 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $21.85 - $33.58 per hour
• $2,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates!

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
• Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinicandrelocate to within 30 miles of it.
