Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Practical Nurse to join a patient‑centered care team. You will manage ongoing data collection and provide patient care under supervision, following the established plan of care. You will recognize changes in patient status and communicate them promptly to the registered nurse.

Responsibilities include documenting interventions, patient responses and educational needs, while maintaining confidentiality, safety, and professional conduct in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Practical Nursing Program.
• BLS required within 90 days; ACLS in critical care units.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status.
• Provide care under the supervision of a registered nurse according to the plan of care.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status promptly to the RN.
• Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful and consistent manner.
• Establish priorities of patient care and document patient responses.
• Document timely and accurately using designated forms and charting.
• Educate patients and families as planned by the RN.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality; adhere to safety policies.
