Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City seeks an LPN to join the Cardiovascular Clinic on the Plaza. This full-time role offers daytime hours with no nights or weekends, with potential float to Saint Luke's East, North, or South.

You will provide professional nursing care, manage patient flow, and coordinate care. Responsibilities include reviewing home monitoring labs, entering results in EMR, communicating with physicians and home health nurses, and preparing patients for exams and EKGs.

Qualifications

• Valid MO and KS LPN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in cardiovascular clinics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients in the Cardiovascular Clinic.

• Review lab results from home monitoring and outside labs and provide INR instructions.
• Communicate with Physici an, Nurse Practitioner, Cardiology Team, and home health nurses.
• Screen patients for necessary information and prepare for examinations such as EKG.
• May cover Medical Assistant duties as needed.

Now seeking an LPN to join our Cardiovascular Clinic on the Plaza!

• M-F Days, No Nights, No Weekends!
• 7a-5:30p 4 days a week or 8:30a-5p 5 days a week
• Missouri and Kansas State LPN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

We are hiring an LPN at our Cardiovascular Clinic! This position provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for patient flow and coordination of patient care.

Receives lab results from home monitoring and outside labs enters into EMR provides INR results to patients with dosage instructions. Communicates with Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Cardiology Nurse Clinician, and home health nurses to provide best practice patient care. Screens patients for appropriate information. Greets patients and prepares them for examinations EKG. Screens patients for appropriate information.

May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.

This position will be based at the Plaza and may float to multiple offices including Saint Luke's East , North and South.
