Job summary

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support adolescents and adults in residential and outpatient eating disorder treatment programs. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and document in the EHR, collaborating with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and dietitians.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in practicing state.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in behavioral health or eating disorders preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adolescents and adults in eating disorder treatment programs under RN and provider supervision.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document clinical observations accurately in the medical record.
• Support medical and psychiatric treatment plans, including labs, EKGs, and coordination of care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to communicate patient status and contribute to treatment planning.
• Educate clients and families on medical aspects of eating disorders, recovery, and safety protocols.
• Respond to medical and behavioral crises using de-escalation skills and established clinical protocols.
• Maintain regulatory, infection control, and documentation standards in residential and outpatient settings.
• Support therapeutic milieu by modeling recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and compassionate care.
