Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state providing nursing care.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well.
• Possesses judgment capabilities, initiative and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the direct delivery of resident care and administers prescribed medications.
• Maintains confidential information related to residents, families and staff.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provides accurate records of medical and nursing care.
• Assigns daily care duties and monitors delivery of care.
• Transcribes physician orders and assists with visits.
• Participates in resident care planning.
• Evaluates resident needs and responds per nursing techniques and protocol.
• Assists with admissions and discharges and manages staff assignments.
• Performs other functions as directed by the supervisor.
