Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is recruiting LPNs for the Daytime and Overnight shifts at our facility in Baton Rouge, LA. You will provide medical care, coordinate medications, and support care teams throughout admission, treatment and discharge.

The organization emphasizes compassionate recovery principles within a nationwide network with high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice in Louisiana or multi-state privileges.
• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient multitasker.
• Compassionate, dignified character upholding recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
