Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our detox and residential facility in Aurora, Colorado. This part-time weekend position runs 7am–7pm, with day shifts on weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• One year diploma program after high school preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission.
• Perform nursing shift duties including vitals, scheduling, labs, and chart updates.
• Address pharmacy needs, dispense meds, and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and medication logging for each client.

Now hiring LPNs for our detox and residential treatment facility, located in Aurora, CO!

Shifts: Part time weekends, day shift: 7am-7pm

What You'll Do

• Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission
• Perform all nursing shift duties (screening, vitals, scheduling appointments and labs, updating charts...)
• Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense meds and maintain med logs
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Ensure impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma/ GED
• Minimum one-year diploma program post-high school
• Current, valid LPN licensure in CO
• 1 year experience in treatment industry preferred
• Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
• Excellent collaborative, multitasking and time management skills
