Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Acute Care provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized healthcare provider in the Inpatient Specialty Care departments.

Work Details

• Primary Department or Work Location: Medical Unit, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital
• Work Shift And Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as-needed, agreed-upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
• Compensation Range: $25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Minimum Required: Graduated from an accredited school of Practical Nursing
• Preferred: Experience working in critical care or hospital environment

License/Certification

• Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
• Preferred: Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
