Job summary

Centurion Health in Ocala, FL is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Lowell Correctional Institution. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff.

The position offers a night shift (7p–7:30a), three shifts per week with rotating weekends, and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
• Must be CPR certified and actively certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the LPN scope under RN supervision.
• Address physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with medical and psychiatric staff to coordinate care.
• Perform duties within security and correctional facility policies.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Lowell Correctional Institution located in Ocala, Florida.

Pay Rate: $31-$35

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

7p-7:30am, 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends
