Job summary

Chambersburg Skilled Nursing & Rehab is seeking a licensed practical nurse to evaluate patients, participate in care planning, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff on-site in a skilled nursing setting.

The role requires graduation from an approved practical nursing program and current state licensure (or pending licensure) with BLS/CPR certification. A generous sign-on bonus of $6,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
