Elara Caring is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home health team serving York, Wells and nearby communities in southern Maine. This full-time role provides skilled nursing care in patients' homes under RN/physician supervision, with on-call rotation and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current Maine LPN license, unrestricted.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• At least 1 year of acute care or comparable clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes under the direction of an RN and physician.
• Follow individualized plans of care.

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our growing southern Maine team. This full-time position serves patients throughout York, Wells, and nearby communities.

What You’ll Need

• Current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in Maine
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• At least one year of experience in an acute care or comparable clinical setting
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Ability to travel between patient homes throughout Portland and Cumberland County
