Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time

Location: Waterbury, CT and surrounding towns.

Education/Qualifications: Candidates must possess a current Connecticut LPN license and possess and maintain CPR certification. Home health care experience is preferred.

Shift/Schedule: Days, evenings, and weekend.

Benefits

• Competitive Pay -
• Pay range of $30.00 - $33.00/hour. Full-time employees are paid on a salary basis based on the above-mentioned rate for 40 hours per week, paid weekly.
• Orientation hours are paid hourly at $25.00/hour, until the LPN is signed off to work independently.
• Per diem visits paid for weekly visits completed that exceed the weekly quota, at the applicable per diem rates.
• Mileage reimbursement of $0.50/mile.
• Paid Time Off - 3 weeks, accrued weekly, plus 8 hours of float holiday.
• Company Holidays - 6 company paid holidays observed (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day)
• Insurance - Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage is available to full-time employees.

Job Description

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Responsibilities include following the plan of care and providing treatments.
• Work collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side effects of medication etc.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Must comply with accepted professional standards and practice.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements and is in good working order.
