Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support individuals in Disabilities Services. The role involves medical management oversight, care plan development with the RN, and direct support within Residential Programs.

Candidates must be a Registered NYS LPN with a valid driver’s license; one year of experience with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Registered New York State Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the medical management of assigned Residential Program & caseload.
• Assists the RN in development and maintenance of records and care plans.
• Keep the RN informed of program needs and any issues regarding the individuals.
• Administering and recording prescribed medications following established protocols.
• Providing direct support to the individuals as needed.

As the LPN, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

Licensed Practical Nurse Minimum Salary:$22.57/hour

Licensed Practical Nurse Maximum Salary:$26.67/hour

Licensed Practical Nurse Schedule: Schedule: M-F flexible schedule, NO on-call expectations, NO evenings, NO weekends, NO mandating, and ALL 17 observed holidays off
