Job summary

Interim HealthCare, serving Sioux Falls, Brookings, Yankton, and other rural areas in South Dakota, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for PRN, part-time, or full-time opportunities. Beneficial shifts include DAYS, EVES, and NOC with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour options.

Competitive pay and on-call support are provided. Qualified candidates hold an active SD LPN license (or multi-state eligibility) and meet certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in South Dakota or multi-state eligibility.
• Maintains required certifications and standards.
• LPN experience highly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• PRN and/or contract staffing in long-term care facilities and/or assisted living settings.
• Assist with daily activities and provide wound care.
• Pass meds, administer treatments and monitor vitals.
• Observe patients for changes requiring care adjustments.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) job duties may include:

• PRN and/or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities, and/or Assisted Living settings
• Aide with daily activities
• Pass medications, give treatments, provide wound care
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals
• Observe patient for issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualifications:

• ActiveLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)license withinSouth Dakota, or reciprocity/multi-state eligibility
• Maintains required certification/qualifications and associated standards
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience highlypreferred
• Must be 18 years of age
