Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for pediatric homecare in the Greater Rockford area. The role includes one-on-one patient care, G-tube/Trach/vent care focus, comprehensive paid training, and ongoing clinical support.

Shifts include full-time or part-time options with weekday, evening, and overnight availability. A $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time caregivers is offered plus weekly pay, benefits, and continued professional support.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Illinois is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiate and follow the established plan of care, requesting revisions as patient needs change.
• Provide therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate significant changes to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while documenting patient response.
• Support patient and family education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning as appropriate.
