Job summary

Portsmouth Cardiology Associates, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team. You will provide clinical expertise, ensure high-quality patient care, and support efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Must have an LPN degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Must be licensed as an LPN under state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, instructing patients on collection of samples/tests, and obtaining vitals.
• Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments; instruct patients and families about medications and treatment instructions.
• Manage patient records including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results.
• Schedule tests and treatments including arranging referrals and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.
