Job summary

Rosedale Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond, VA is seeking licensed practical nurses to join our clinical team. We offer full-time, part-time and PRN options with shifts across day, evening, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in VA is required.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs according to standards of practice and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents' physical, emotional and psychological well‑being.
• Assist with resident comfort and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Monitor vital signs, collect samples and provide wound care as needed.
• Coach staff as necessary and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in VA
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
