Under general supervision at full performance level, provides nursing care to residents on the assigned unit. Assist residents to function at their highest level of health on all shifts. Dispense medications in a timely manner to meet residents’ needs. Properly document and chart the care and progress of each resident, assuring confidentiality of all records. Direct and take responsibility for assigned areas and CNA’s. Provide proper supervision to the Certified Nursing Assistants. Utilize staff properly to give the type of care desired to all. Performs related duties as required. Computer skills are required. Shift assignment is subject to change per operational need.Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.

Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Applicants must successfully pass a background check.
