NeuroRestorative - Traveling Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or RN (Evening Hours)

NeuroRestorative, part of the Sevita family, offers rehabilitation services for individuals of all ages with brain, spinal cord, and complex injuries or illnesses. We provide a range of programs in community settings, including vocational, therapy, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, military service members, and veterans.

Position Overview: This role is ideal for continuing your nursing career in a dynamic setting that provides meaningful challenges and impact. You will deliver nursing services, training, and support to meet the medical and psychiatric needs of individuals with various disabilities and disorders.

1. Monitor health conditions and ensure quality care.
2. Administer medications, document treatments, and supervise staff medication administration.
3. Provide prescribed medical treatments and personal care as per physician orders.
4. Conduct assessments, develop healthcare services in Individual Service Plans (ISP), and respond to health changes.
5. Train staff on infection control, medication administration, and universal precautions.
6. Act as liaison and advocate with healthcare and professional providers.
7. Train individuals on self-medication, treatments, sex education, STD prevention, and smoking cessation.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field, or graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience with the target population.
• Current state LPN, LVN, or RN license.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Additional certifications such as CPR/FA, HIV/AIDS, BBP, and ACT as required by state.
• Effective communication skills with staff, individuals served, and families.
