Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Brookside in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver compassionate resident care. You will assess needs, provide direct nursing care, and collaborate with a care team to achieve optimal outcomes in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include meds administration, wound care, vital sign monitoring, and care plan support. CPR/BLS required; prior SNF experience preferred, with flexibility for varied shifts including nights and PRN coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN/LVN license in Nebraska or Multi-State.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; additional state-required certifications may apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move patients and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' vital signs, document progress, and report changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized care plans.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Brookside, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, providing direct nursing care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents. You will work in a supportive and dynamic environment where your skills and dedication contribute significantly to the well-being of our residents.

Work Environment:

Brookside is a family/Team oriented environment with tenure staff.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.

• Monitoring and Assessment: Monitor residents’ vital signs, document their progress, and report any significant changes to the Director of Nursing.

• Care Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet each resident’s needs.

• Communication: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care, communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
