Job summary

Journey in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead and supervise the nursing staff in our long-term care facility.

You will oversee daily clinical operations, ensure compliance with regulations, participate in admissions and transfers, and support residents and families. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and CNAs.
• Follows the nursing model to promote holistic care for residents.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures by nursing staff.
• Participates in admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status and notifies physician and family; documents accordingly.
• Transcribes physician orders to medical record and carries out orders.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
