Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse – Lead Medication Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Dorsey Run Correctional Facility in Jessup, Maryland.

The Lead Medication LPN dispenses and administers medications, takes vital signs, and assists in examinations and daily living activities. Requires Maryland LPN license, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of LPN experience; corrections experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN license to practice.
• Minimum of one year of LPN experience in outpatient, hospital or long-term care.
• Corrections experience preferred; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and administer medications (oral, inhalation, topical).
• Take vital signs and assist in examinations and treatments.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
