This is a great opportunity for someone like you to join our team! Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking caring people to fill Licensed Practical Nurse position. The Licensed Practical Nurse’s (LPN's) primary responsibilities are to provide respectful, comprehensive, and person-centered direct care services to individuals in the residential homes provided by Minnesota State Operated Community Services (MSOCS).

Primary Responsibilities Include
  • Takes temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings.
  • Administers and records prescribed medication.
  • Keeps clinical charts and reports on the physical and emotional state of clients.
  • Promotes and participates in rehabilitation activities.
  • Maintains a clean and hazard-free environment.
  • Promotes clients' personal hygiene.
  • May regulate parental fluids and administer intramuscular injection.
  • Administers emergency first aid.
  • Orders supplies and equipment.
  • Operate a motor vehicle and possess a current, valid driver’s license
  • Current employees are not eligible for the hiring bonus.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Future Practical Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-LPN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-LPN
