Job summary

Sunshine Homecare Services seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide in-home care in the Peekskill, NY area. Must hold NY LPN license and have at least 2 years of home care experience.

You will work independently with strong critical thinking and communication skills, offering emotional support in addition to medical care. CPR/BLS certification is required to maintain patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

Job description

We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to provide care in home settings.

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Must hold current, valid state nursing license and be registered as an LPN in the state of NY.
• A minimum of 2 years home care experience.
• Ability to work independently, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine compassion for patients and their families, with the ability to provide emotional support in addition to medial care.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with the patients, family, other healthcare providers and team members.
• Current CPR Certification (Basic Life Support, BLS).
