Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct resident care across all shifts. The role includes administering medications, performing treatments, and ensuring patient safety under established policies.

We offer a sign-on bonus and competitive benefits. Prior nursing experience with elderly/residential care is preferred, with full-time or part-time options and every-other-weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Experience with resident care and age-specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe resident care and complete treatments per standards and policies.
• Participate in improving quality of resident care.
• Communicate resident information and care plans during shifts and handoffs.
• Administer medications according to the five rights and document administration.
• Perform treatments using sterile or clean technique.
• Administer external feedings as prescribed.
• Complete care-related tasks within scheduled shifts.
• Cooperate with reassignments to support resident care.
• Report care problems and propose solutions to nursing management.
• Delegate care issues to appropriate nursing leadership.

New Rate Starting at $33.25/hr Up To $34/hr "salary adjustment based on years of experience" w/Diff Eve $35/hr & Nights $35.50/hr

Functions

• Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies. Maintains awareness of new updates standards and incorporates them into his/her nursing practice throughout the continuum of care.
• Participates in the improvement process of quality resident care.
• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.
• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.
• Accurately administers external feedings.
• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.
• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.
• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
