Details

• Pay Class: Full-Time
• Hourly Pay: $20.40
• Site Location: Chattanooga, TN
• PRN Shifts Available - Hourly Pay: $24.00
• Shift Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), 3 days one week, 4 days the next

Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:1

Role Overview

This role offers opportunities to continue your nursing career, providing nursing services, training, and support to individuals with various medical and behavioral needs, including brain injury, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, and emotional or behavioral disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health conditions and ensure quality services
• Administer medications, document, and oversee staff medication administration
• Provide prescribed treatments and personal care
• Conduct assessments and implement healthcare plans
• Train staff on infection control, medication administration, etc.
• Coordinate with medical providers and external agencies
• Train individuals on self-medication, treatments, sex education, smoking cessation

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certification
• One year of relevant nursing experience
• Current LPN or LVN license
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, auto insurance
• Additional certifications: CPR/FA, HIV/AIDS, BBP, ACT, as required
• Effective communication skills
