Job summary

SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under RN/physician supervision. You will administer medications, monitor patients, educate families, and support discharge planning in a 36-hour weekly schedule on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self-care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• May perform point of care testing according to policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Varying days, 12hr shifts 7-1, every third weekend rotation and a holiday rotation. Can self-schedule during self-scheduling but shifts will be moved to balance staffing across the unit.

Required Professional License And/Or Certifications

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
