Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical/Surgical Department in Bolivar, Missouri— someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Patients receiving orthopedic surgery are commonly cared for in our department, but we also care for patients receiving a variety of gynecological, urological, and abdominal procedures. Medical patients present with a variety of illnesses including: sepsis, UTIs, pneumonia, wound care, COPD, CHF, and so much more. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:6 with a tech to assist in assessing patients.

• Administering medications to manage patients' pain levels and medical needs.
• Working closely with our providers to generate a plan for the day to coordinate admissions and discharges as the shift progresses.
• Working with a great team of upbeat nursing staff and providers.

Qualifications

Skills: Clinical expertise, quick decision-making, strong communication, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Licensure/Certification: LPN
