Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Plumber to maintain, repair, install, and troubleshoot plumbing and medical gas systems across a facility. This role sits within Engineering and Technical Services, ensuring reliable operation of distribution networks and associated equipment.

The position requires a Journeyman plumbing certification and a valid driver’s license. Medical Gas and Backflow certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumbing certification required.
• Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
• Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
• Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
