The role covers installing and repairing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and disposals; performing sewer and drain cleaning in varied environments, and ensuring sites are restored to pre-job conditions. A valid state plumbing license and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to customer service calls, conducts thorough inspections of plumbing issues, diagnoses problems, offers solutions and estimates, and closes service sales.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposals, dishwashers, and water softeners with proper licensing.
• Conducts sewer and drain cleaning in basements, roofs, confined spaces and close quarters; restores pre-job conditions.
• Prepares invoices, totals costs, collects payment, and explains the Roto-Rooter guarantee in writing and on smartphone.
• Collects payment and proceeds to the next service call.
