Qualifications

• At least three years as a journey-level painter in residential, commercial, industrial, or facilities settings.
• Massachusetts Plumbing License required; related licenses seen as a plus.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and work from plans and blueprints; strong English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems and components for hospital operations; includes medical gas, sewage, water distribution, steam and lab waste systems.
• Plans and performs preventive maintenance; enters data into CMMS; inspects equipment and records.
• Troubleshoots equipment; installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing-related systems and components.
• Operates Oxygen, Vacuum piping and related equipment; handles high/low pressure systems and hospital sterilizers.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment; follows safety and infection control procedures.
