Job summary

Cardinal Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric is seeking a Licensed Plumber to provide residential service and installation in Southern Wisconsin. You will work with a supportive team, diagnose issues, and present clear options to customers.

You should have 3+ years of residential plumbing experience, strong codes knowledge, and a commitment to ongoing education. Expect competitive pay, benefits, and a culture that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Have the proper certifications and/or licensure (Journeyman, Restricted or Master Plumber) - Licensed Plumber
• Three (3)+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and local plumbing codes.
• Proven experience with fixture installation, leak detection, repairs, water heaters, and drain systems.
• Commitment to continued education and professional growth.
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High integrity and the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
• Strong desire to continuously improve and grow professionally.
• Competitive, self-motivated individual who also enjoys contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand residential plumbing systems to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations with quality workmanship.
• Work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined areas when needed.
• Educate customers with detailed repair options and recommendations.
• Assist customers in selecting financing and maintenance plans.
• Test systems for leaks and functionality after repairs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and meet performance goals.
• Present yourself professionally to earn repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with customer service and dispatch for a great experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and stocked vehicle.
• Participate in training, meetings, and development opportunities.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians when appropriate.
• Complete invoices, documentation, and paperwork accurately and timely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand residential plumbing systems to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.

• Physically capable of working in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas when necessary.
• Educate customers and provide detailed options and recommendations for repairs and system improvements.

• Properly test systems for functionality and leaks after completing repairs.
• Hold yourself accountable for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving performance goals.

• Work closely with customer service and dispatch teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site, appearance, and a properly stocked service vehicle.
• Participate actively in company training, meetings, and development opportunities.

• Complete invoices, documentation, and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
