Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to deliver direct therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role supports patient mobility, strength, and functional recovery across outpatient, acute inpatient, and inpatient rehabilitation settings.

You will reinforce exercises, monitor responses, document treatments per Trinity Health standards, and collaborate with the rehab team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in North Dakota.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30 days of hire.
• Able to communicate orally with all customers.
• Organize time well to meet job expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated physical therapy interventions and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient performance and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Provide instruction to patients and families on safe mobility and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Prepare, clean, and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Collaborate with therapy staff, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care.
